Selco Equipment is a locally owned and operated full sales and service dealer in Atlantic Canada for Kobelco excavator, the New Brunswick and Newfoundland dealer for Dynapac road construction equipment and the New Brunswick dealer for Tramac hydraulic breakers, plate compactors and other attachments.
In the first year under new ownership, it was announced that Selco Equipment was awarded the Kobelco Dealer of Gold Distinction for 2017. This award is designed to recognize those North American dealers who, along with Kobelco, invest in continuous improvements. Less than 5% of the North American dealers achieved the top level of Gold. Under the program, there are 9 categories and rankings measuring customer satisfaction, customer service, sales, technical training & product support. Daryl Lisson, President and Scott Roberts, Vice President, formally announced today the purchase of SELCO EQUIPMENT SALES LTD. “With both of us spending years in the heavy equipment business, we saw the opportunity for a locally owned and operated regional heavy equipment dealership. Atlantic Canadians like to deal with the owners of the business as most of our clients are owner / operators themselves.” Stated Daryl. “With the purchase, we have great employees and customers. Starting with three great product lines: Kobelco excavators, Dynapac rollers and pavers and the Tramac hydraulic hammers, we are looking to grow the dealership by adding more complementary products and services as well as expanding into the other Atlantic provinces” added Daryl. “As you can imagine, the first year is pretty hectic, so we give most of the credit to our employees for their support and making sure our customers felt comfortable with all the changes that come with new ownership.
